There is a material that can be produced from the manufactured rovings. In the strengthening of the fiberglass material, the chopped stranded mat is applied. It is usually made by laying glass fibers across each other in a random manner and holding them in place by the use of a binder. The production of the chopped stranded mat is usually done using technique known as hand lay up.
The applications of the fiberglass material are vast and distinct. Storage tanks are one of the areas in which the fiberglass material is applied. These storage containers are mostly suitable in the keeping of chemical substances. This is because of the chemical resistance property of the plastic used in fiberglass.
Construction of houses also adapts the use of the fiberglass material. There are quite a wide number of uses of the fiberglass material for house parts. Fiberglass possesses great qualities that make its application wide and vast.
